We had the Mozilla Firefox Localization to Filipino Webinar led by Seth Bindernagel of Mozilla yesterday morning and it was a great session.
Around eleven folks attended the first webinar to tackle Mozilla Firefox localization to Filipino. (Props to John, Kevin, Bob, Joell, Charmaine, Gian, Juned, Marvin, and other folks who made time for the webinar. if you were there, please let me know! )

Mozilla localization  expert Seth Bindernagel will be leading a webinar that will fast track the localization of Mozilla Firefox to Filipino.

Browser Choice Screen: This Should be Global

Microsoft Internet Explorer users in Europe now see a “Browser Choice Screen” where they can select which browser to use. This move by Microsoft is a result of the EU ruling last year that orders them to not make Internet Explorer the default browser and give folks in Europe a better way to know their options.

The contest takes off from an open source approach to finding the coolest design for representing Mozilla for this year. Anyone submitting a design must take into account the values Mozilla values: openness, community, and innovation.
