Web FWD by Mozilla

Mozilla recently launched a new innovation initiative– Web FWD (“Web Forward”).
According to the blog post about the launch, Web FWD will provide a space at Mozilla where hackers and innovators can build their products. There will be a workshop environment where “bold ideas can be realized and bare-bones prototypes can develop and go forward as products.” This platform will hopefully foster innovation for the Open Web.

Mozilla Wants You: Join Mozilla Reps!

After the launch of the new Mozilla Firefox, it’s a good time to be a bigger part of the Mozilla universe.

New Mozilla Firefox is Out!

Three months after the release of Mozilla Firefox 4, a new version of Mozilla Firefox is out!
The new version, Firefox 5, has incremental changes from the last one, but the most notable is the branding– succeeding Firefox releases will be dropping the version number from its branding. (But the version number can still be found in the “About Firefox” section.)

Mozilla at PWDO’s Mini FFC June 2011

Last June 16, 2011, Mozilla joined the Philippine Web Designers Organization‘s (PWDO) Mini FFC June 2011 at the Exist Techbar. Representing Mozilla was Madhava Enros, Firefox Mobile UI Lead and he gave a remote presentation about designing the user experience (UX) for mobile. He also shared some of the Mozilla UX team’s philosophies in translating the great UX of Mozilla Firefox into the small screen.

Mozilla’s Madhava Enros will be remotely presenting at the Philippine Web Designers Organization‘s Mini Form Function Class June 2011 on June 16, 2011.
Madhava is Mozilla’s Firefox Mobile UI Lead and he will be talking about mobile user experience. Web designers and developers who are looking to increase their mobile mojo should attend the event.
