Mozilla Firefox 7 with Improved Memory Usage

Mozilla Firefox 7 released with a significant reduction of memory usage for faster browsing. In response to users demanding lower memory usage of Firefox, it now uses 20% to 30% less, and sometimes as much as 50% less according to Mozilla Hacks. Expect more memory usage improvements as Mozilla engineers started the effort MemShrink to the stability of Firefox. Stepping Down as the Community Manager of Mozilla Philippines

Hello everyone! After two years as Community Manager for Mozilla Philippines, I’m stepping down. I’ve really enjoyed leading the community but I’ve made this decision based on a huge personal move. Last September 10-11, 2011,the Mozilla Philippines Community supported the Philippine Web Designers Organization‘s flagship event– the <form>, function(), & .class(FFC) Web Design Conference. The Mozilla Reps program was kind enough to send a huge box full of Mozilla swag as giveaways to the events attendees (as seen in this blog post).
