Former Student Rep Ryan Jayson Ermita has successfully finished the 3-month Probation Period of the Mozilla Reps Program last 30 Jan 2014. Ryan is current employed as a developer with a local software development company and is busy teaching the web through Webmaker during his free time.
Last 19 Apr 2014, we welcomed the addition of Kristina Divina Verbo as the latest Mozilla Rep in the Philippines. Tina, as she is known in the community, just finished her university studies at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and has been an active Firefox Student Ambassador (FSA) since the program was launched. She will be helping in the WoMoz (Women & Mozilla) advocacy of the Mozilla Philippines Community and will continue to share her knowledge in web development through Firefox OS Workshops slated in the coming weeks.
Just a week ago, 06 May 2014, the Philippines’ first female Mozilla Rep Faye Tandog has been chosen as the third Pinoy Mozilla Reps Mentor (after Jun Barrun and Bob Reyes). Faye currently heads the Education & WoMoz teams of the Mozilla Philippines Community and is a Mozilla Reps Adviser to the Firefox Student Ambassador (FSA) Program worldwide. She is also the fitness advocate of the MozillaPH team.
