We are happy to announce the appointment of Mr. Lenuel Betita as the new Mozilla Philippines Community Regional Coordinator for Negros Occidental replacing Mr. Frederick Villaluna, who is now Luzon-based, effective 01 Dec 2015.

Leny, as he is known in the region, is a product of AMA Computer College and is currently teaching at the La Consolacion College – Bacolod handling subjects on Web Development, Mobile Technology, eCommerce and Database Management. Being a developer by heart, Leny’s expertise in this field is a big support to the Mozilla Community with his support as resource person on events such as MozTours and Firefox OS Workshops across the island (he was one of the speakers during MozTour ABE International Business College in Iloilo City).

Join me in welcoming Leny to his new role in the community and in giving thanks to Frederick for his service as the very first MozillaPH Regional Coordinator.
