Kicking Off the New Year with Mixed Awesomeness
Mozilla Philippines is kicking off the new year with a mixture of campus tours and Firefox OS App Days this January. The first of these events will be on January 12 at the Pamantasan Ng Cabuyao (PNC) in Laguna with over 450 expected participants from the school’s college of engineering studies. The Mozilla Philippines Community held its very first HTML5 & Firefox OS (B2G) Roadshow at the Valero Telepark, Makati City earlier tonight. Mozilla Firefox 7 with Improved Memory Usage
Mozilla Firefox 7 released with a significant reduction of memory usage for faster browsing. In response to users demanding lower memory usage of Firefox, it now uses 20% to 30% less, and sometimes as much as 50% less according to Mozilla Hacks.
