After almost a month of weekly MozTours and event invitations, the Mozilla Philippines Community is now all set to another big event set in the province of most of the team members, Firefox OS App Days Laguna! It was a Friday night when the Mozilla Philippines Community organized a fun and educating webmaking event at Maker Party Valero last Sept. 6, 2013!

To celebrate with the world on this season of webmaking, the Mozilla Philippines Community organized a Maker Party in the Manila University District (U-Belt). It was originally set on August 21st, a national holiday in the middle of the week where students are expected to just curl up in their dorm beds. Three months upon launch of the Women and Mozilla initiative, we have gathered enough women who committed to be part of the Philippine WoMoz team! The Maker Party season has just started and the Mozilla Philippines Community kicked off the season of Webmaking with an all-girl Maker Party in Makati City! This event is also in support of the Women and Mozilla project.
