Just days ago, PhilGEPS (The Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System) was cited for their efforts to enhance public access to data via the Internet by the Department of Budget Management (DBM). The Mozilla Philippines Community is privileged to have Georg Fritzsche in-house tonight. Georg is a Platform Engineer working on Firefox Desktop. He is based in Berlin, Germany. We took the opportunity of hosting Georg for an evening with Pinoy Mozillians during his brief stay in Manila for holidays. Team MozillaPH Visits Mindoro for the First Time

Team MozillaPH traveled some 276 kilometers south of Manila to reach Innovative College of Science & Technology in Bongabong, Mindoro. To reach the MozTour venue, the team had to travel by land and sea (ferry) for almost ten (10) hours — one way (Google Maps’ estimated travel time is kinda off by several hours, noting that the ferry ride alone is around 180 minutes).
