Cebu City, also known as Queen City of the South (some 500 kilometers south of Manila) is considered to be the next most progressive city in the country (after Mega Manila).

The Mozilla Philippines Community is honored and proud to play host for a MozCoffee with no less than Mozilla’s Jet Villegas (Rendering Team) in attendance. JSConf.Asia is a yearly conference about JavaScript, Web, and Mobile. They aim to inform people about what’s going on the tech world, particularly web and mobile in Asia. Firefox OS Challenge for Students is the first hackathon organized by the Mozilla Philippines Community that focuses on starting up a new breed of innovative apps in the Firefox Marketplace.

All participants here are students from different colleges and universities and that they are allowed to code within 7 hours but that didn’t stop them from making “Kids Education” themed apps.
