University of the Philippines Los Banos Computer Science Society (UPLB COSS) is an academic organization consisting of Computer Science students focusing on the general interest of computer education and excellence. Mozilla-PHL: Zamboanga Goes Mobile A Success

The Mozilla Philippines successfully organized its very first mobile-related event in Zamboanga City dubbed as Zamboanga Goes Mobile -”Open Source Style” last March 16, 2013 at the E-Learning Centre Inc. The event was supported by Globe Labs who provided internet connectivity for all participants all throughout the day.

Open Web Day at University of Sto. Tomas (UST)

Team Mozilla Philippines, in cooperation with Tomasino Web and Wikimedia Philippines staged the very first Open Web Day at the oldest university in Asia: the Royal and Pontifical University of Sto. Tomas.

 
The half-day event venue was held at the St. Albertus Magnus Auditorium (Ed-Tech Center) earlier today. Attended by a couple of UST students and some friends of TomWeb.

We have recently updated the design of the website of Mozilla Philippines. This re-design is brought about by the revised website of Mozilla.org, and reflects a united vision and mission with the rest of the Mozilla international community.

WebGeek.ph was re-launched last Saturday, February 19, 2012. The re-launch was attended by our Community Manager, Jun Barrun and Localization guru, Bob Reyes. WebGeek is a community of Filipino Geeks, Developers and Designers. Among its main features include a valuable forum, a repository of online resources and articles, start-up organization, events and meetups. They also have an available app for Facebook, iOS and Android.
