First Ever MozCoffee Photo MNL Held

Team Mozilla Philippines, through this blogger & Mozilla Rep, invited one of the country’s most sought after wedding, events, and model photographer: Vladimir Lima. Vladimir or simply Vlad (Ody to us his childhood friends) is the Owner and CEO of Milk + Honey Photo & Cinematics; he is also a professor of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management and Management subjects at the Asia Pacific College (APC). Vlad was commissioned by the Mozilla Philippines Community to be behind the lens during the recently concluded HTML5 + Firefox OS Roadshow last Aug 2012 (photo can be found here).

MozCoffee Photo MNL, the very first of its kind in the Philippines, was held earlier today at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) Prizm Plaza at the Two E-Com Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

The aim of this MozCoffee is for the Mozilla Reps based here in the Philippines, as well as Mozillians who signed up for the event to have a crash course on events photography. Vlad gave the attendees insights on the basics of photography: from the introduction of the different equipment a photographer needs to have (camera, flash, tripod, and the like), to the technical and not so technical terminologies like aperture, shutter speed, focus, etc.

The resource speaker’s inputs were very much appreciated by the Mozillians who attended the event, having the goal of delivering better photos in our blog entries during events.
