Mozilla Firefox 4 is fast approaching! With the release of RC1 a few days ago, folks are getting excited with the new version of the Philippines’ #1 browser.
Of course, there will be several launch-related events in the Philippines. Here’s a list of what we have so far:
- Manila – April 16, 2011
- Davao – April 22, 2011
- Cebu – TBA
- Calamba – TBA
- Cagayan De Oro – TBA
While things are still finalizing, the details for each event will emerge.
The good news is that for the Manila event, folks from Mozilla HQ will be here. I’ve gotten confirmation that Gen Kanai, Director for Asia Business Development at Mozilla, will be here. We’re still finalizing who will be the other Mozilla person, but I’ve gotten word that he/she will be an engineer.
One final note: for the Manila event, we will be making a very important announcement. What that is, I will share on the next post. 😀
