MozillaPH Year End Report 2013

As we end the year 2013, here are some quick stats that will serve as our benchmark for the coming year:

• The year will end with twelve (12) active Pinoy Mozilla Reps in our roster. Props to my fellow ReMo’s for making things happen in 2012!
• From January to December 2013, we staged and participated in 90 events — that is around 1 to 2 events per week! In 2012, we only had 82 events (organized or participated in). We are seeing an upward trend here. More events in 2014!
• Manila played host to a Firefox OS App Days event in January 2013 — the Philippines is one of the 25 countries worldwide staging such groundbreaking celebration.
• There are currently around 300 Firefox Student Ambassadors (FSA) in the Philippines, and the numbers are growing each day.
• We had reached more than 1,000 likes for the MozillaPH Facebook Page this year.

… and the list of our community’s achievements in 2013 goes on. On behalf of the leaders in the Mozilla Philippines Community, our sincerest thanks to you for making all of these possible. Without the volunteers like YOU, the community will just remain to be an online organization.
