It is the last weekend for 2012, but Team Mozilla Philippines is very busy organizing the last Tagalog Firefox Translation Marathon for the year. We are both happy and proud in welcoming to the Philippines Arky, Mozilla’s Community Manager for Localization. Infographic: Celebrating 3 Billion Mozilla Firefox Add-ons Download

Mozilla Firefox reached another milestone after the 3 billionth (yes, it’s the big letter “B”) add-on download was registered in July 2012. In celebration of this feat, we had come up with an infographic about Mozilla Firefox Add-ons, which was translated to Filipino — thanks to our fellow Mozillian from Hungary Kálmán Kéménczy!

Bikol & Chavacano Localization Fever Starts

With the localization & translation efforts for the Mozilla Firefox Aurora in Tagalog Project almost 100% done (we’re in the process of reviewing and approving all of your translation suggestions – thank you!), community members the Bicol and Zamboanga Peninsula regions had started their own efforts to localize our favorite web browser and even parts of the Mozilla website.
