Is Mozilla Firefox Losing Market Share in the Philippines?

I read a couple of posts about Mozilla Firefox‘s declining market share in the Philippines (One from Abe Oldandres and one from Ely Apao).  Abe cites data from StatCounter that last Matrch, Mozilla Firefox lost its status as the Number One browser in the Philippines. The data from StatCounter suggests that Google Chrome’s gain in the Philippines is a loss for both Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Name the Mozilla Philippines Mascot!

Foxkeh. G-Fox. Foxmosa. Kit. Kumi. Those names may not be familiar to a lot of people, but for Mozilla Firefox fans, they are quite popular. They are the local mascots for Mozilla Firefox in different countries all over the world. Here’s the good news: that group will be joined by the Philippine mascot!
