The Mozilla Philippines Community has now in its possession one (01) unit of Prepaid LTE Pocket WiFi device (Alcatel OneTouch purchased from Smart). The device is under the care of Mozilla Rep Robert “Bob” Reyes and may be borrowed by any Mozilla Rep based in the Philippines for official functions and events. Bob will act as the “wrangler” for all requests to borrow the device.
Guidelines in Borrowing the Prepaid LTE Pocket WiFi device:
- Any Mozilla Rep (ReMo) based in the Philippines is entitled to borrow the device by accomplishing this online form.
- Issuance of the device is on a First Come, First Served basis (time stamp is captured when one accomplishes the borrowing form.
- Prepaid Load for the device will be for the account of the borrower.
- The device’s load can be topped-up at any store offering Smart or Smart Bro Prepaid Reloading services.
- The borrower acknowledges full responsibility on the care and usage of the device.
- The borrower will not alter any features (physical and/or software component) of the device, as doing so will void the warranty (valid until 08 Jan 2015).
- In case of loss, the borrower will have to replace the device (currently priced at PHP4,888).
