MozillaPH Goes Live on Radio for the First Time!

Thanks to the awesomeness of my good (online & offline) friend and Mozilla supporter Pocholo Gonzales for inviting us at their radio show at DZIQ 990AM [Voice of the Youth Radio] earlier today at Makati City.

DZIQ 990AM is also known as Radyo Inquirer (from the same group producing the Philippine Daily Inquirer).

Mozilla Philippines Community Manager Eusebio “Jun” Barrun, Jr. and I were interviewed live on air about what Mozilla is currently doing in the Philippines and introduced the Firefox Student Ambassador (FSA) Program, since the radio show caters to the youth. My Mozilla Reps Mentee Aaron Cajes was at tow to document the historical radio show guesting (first time for MozillaPH). Props to the VOTY crew (Adrian Santoalla and the gang — we’ll wait for your FSA application) for their warn welcome and accommodation for the team. We enjoyed the radio interview.

Watch the entire 11th episode of Voice of the Radio show (airs every Saturday from 1500H to 1630H at 990Khz) as recorded by DZIQ here (see us enter the radio booth at the 26:35 mark):
