Asia Society & IPVG Present “Lessons from Mozilla”

Just sharing this event the Mozilla Philippines Community is supporting.

The Asia Society, along with IPVG Corp., present  “LESSONS FROM MOZILLA: How a global community created a popular free software product for over 400 million users worldwide”.

Gen Kanai, who is going be here next week for the Mozilla Firefox 4 Manila launch, will share lessons on how Mozilla is organized and produces Firefox.  Gen will focus on key aspects such as Mozilla’s non-profit status, the open source nature of the software, and the community-driven development process. The presentation will be largely organizational and process-oriented.

The event will be on April 15, 2011, 5:30PM to 7:30PM at the Yulo Caseroom, AIM Conference Center. Tickets are priced 300PHP. Discounted prices are available for students at 200PHP and for ASPF Members at 250PHP.
