MozillaPH Dev Team Sessions: Git Basics and Firefox OS Development

The Mozilla Philippines Dev Team held its first Dev Sessions last June 22, 2013. Dev Sessions is one of the core strategies of our community to engage with developers and students. One of the goal of this session is to teach Git basics that will allow developers and students contribute to our community projects (e.g RaffleHat) and other open source technologies. Another goal is to teach the participants Firefox OS development basics from development up to submitting their apps to the Marketplace.

Firefox Student Ambassador Fate Cabag and Ryan Ermita are responsible for the registration.

The event was opened by our community manager and followed by a short social activity that helped the participants get to know each other.

Mozilla Philippines Dev Team Kevin John Ventura, Joell Lapitan, Ryan Ermita & Kenneth Sungcaya facilitated the Git workshop.
