MozillaPH L10n Team Meeting (September 2019)

The September 2019 Monthly Meeting of the Mozilla Philippines (MozillaPH) Localization (L10n) Team happened 2130H tonight (MNL time) via the MozillaPH Slack. MozillaPH Community Volunteers Meetup in Cagayan de Oro

Mozilla Philippines Community volunteers for Northern Mindanao recently held its second community meetup last September 14, 2019. Northern Mindanao volunteers received fresh updates on the various initiatives and activities from the Mozilla PH Community core team in Metro Manila. Among the most notable updates, volunteers learned that the recent localization contributions in Tagalog were already merged into Firefox Nightly and that localization efforts for the Tagalog translations for Firefox achieved 100% completion. Firefox Tagalog Localization Attains 100% in Pontoon

Ten long years after we started the efforts of translating Firefox to Tagalog, and we reached 100% completion in Pontoon today! The journey to Firefox Tagalog started around 2009, when the Mozilla Philippines Community (MozillaPH) was formally established.
