MozillaPH Localization (L10n) Team Onboarding Goes Online

With the aim of providing better tools and streamline processes to make onboarding new volunteers to the Mozilla Philippines Community (MozillaPH) a better experience, we are opening access to the MozillaPH Learning Server today. Using an instance of Moodle, the MozillaPH Learning Server will be developing courseware on different areas of contributions to the organization. MozillaPH L10n Team Meeting (April 2020)

The April 2020 Monthly Meeting of the Mozilla Philippines (MozillaPH) Localization (L10n) Team happened at 2100H tonight (MNL time) via the MozillaPH Slack. MozillaPH L10n Team Meeting (May 2019)

Earlier tonight, the Localization (L10n) Team of Mozilla Philippines Community (MozillaPH) had its monthly meeting. For a change, we tried something (not really) new: Slack. Tonight’s meeting did not involve video or audio chats, instead, we had a productive online gathering by means of a text chat via https://mozillaph.slack.com. MozillaPH-Northern Mindanao Awards its First Localization Challenge Winner

Mozilla Philippines – Northern Mindanao held an in-community localization challenge (L10n Rush) recently. The volunteer who gets to submit the most suggestions and translation proposals to the Tagalog localization for Firefox will receive a prize. Nik Cyrell Yabo emerged as the top contributor to the month-long localization challenge which ran from March until April 2019. Nik is a new volunteer for Northern Mindanao. Firefox Developer Edition Now Available in Tagalog

After years of translation activities, and switch to several platforms and tools, we are happy to announce the availability of the localized version of Firefox Developer Edition in Tagalog! This version (in Tagalog/Filipino) is not yet final. We are still in the process of completing the translation of the entire software to Tagalog/Filipino.
